By accessing or using Cathay Mortgage's platform, website, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Cathay Mortgage's services, you confirm that you are at least 21 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates, and agree to comply with these Terms of Service.
2. Services Provided
Cathay Mortgage provides mortgage advisory and brokerage support services in the United Arab Emirates, including assisting clients in comparing mortgage products offered by licensed UAE banks and financial institutions, supporting mortgage application and pre-approval submission processes, providing general consultation and guidance throughout the mortgage process, facilitating communication between clients and partner banks, and optional property-related coordination services upon request. Cathay Mortgage does not provide loans, credit facilities, or financial products of any kind.
3. Eligibility
To use our services, you may be required to meet eligibility criteria that may include being at least 18 years of age, having a stable income source, being a UAE resident, UAE national, or eligible non-resident where applicable, and having a satisfactory credit profile as assessed by partner financial institutions. Final eligibility and approval decisions are determined solely by licensed banks and financial institutions.
4. Application Process
When using our services, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information, maintain the accuracy of your information, and acknowledge that we may assist in submitting applications to banks on your behalf. We may decline or discontinue an application process at our discretion. All credit decisions, approvals, and loan terms are made exclusively by banks and financial institutions. Cathay Mortgage does not approve, guarantee, or influence any lending decisions.
5. Fees and Payments
Cathay Mortgage does not charge clients standard brokerage fees for mortgage advisory services unless explicitly agreed in writing. Any fees charged by banks or financial institutions, including processing fees or valuation fees, are determined by those institutions and will be communicated to you prior to proceeding.
6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide accurate and professional advisory services, we do not guarantee mortgage approval or loan disbursement, do not control interest rates, loan amounts, or lending terms, and all financial decisions are made solely by licensed banks and financial institutions. Clients are responsible for their own financial decisions and due diligence. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cathay Mortgage shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and branding on Cathay Mortgage's platform are owned by Cathay Mortgage or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute materials without prior written permission.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our services at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably determine that a user has violated these Terms or engaged in misuse of the platform.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
